FUNDS REQUIRED TO TAKE POSSESSION:

– $500 Refundable security deposit

APPLICATION PROCESS:

1) Provide proof-of-income:

– ONE MONTH’s proof-of-income, ie: pay-check stubs. Gross income should be 3 X’s 

  monthly rent amount; ie: if rent is $900/mo, then your gross income should be at least 

  $2,700/mo.

If you’ve just started a new job and don’t have paystubs, your human resources department 

should be happy to provide this information in the form of a letter for you.

2) Pay for background screening:

You can pay by either using your bank’s bill-pay feature or Zelle. After payment has been made, you’ll receive an email invitation from mysmartmove.com to fill out an online screening request. Cost: $40

It takes 3 business days to receive the results from background screening. After we receive the results, we’ll email you notification and send you info on how to pay the $500 security deposit, which is refundable if you take occupancy and return the room in the same condition as it was when you took occupancy. Security deposit will hold the room for 10 days; that is, you must take occupancy within 10 days of paying the security deposit. The security deposit is non-refundable if you fail to take occupancy.
